Setup guide
LeadCatch sends every enquiry from IndiaMART and your website forms into HubSpot as a clean contact, with a deal and a call task, assigned to the right salesperson. Setup takes about ten minutes.
Before you start
- A HubSpot account where you can install apps (you need permission to approve app installs).
- For IndiaMART: a paid IndiaMART seller account. IndiaMART's Push API and Pull API are only available to paid sellers.
1. Connect HubSpot
- Open LeadCatch and start your workspace.
- Click Connect HubSpot and choose your HubSpot account.
- HubSpot lists what LeadCatch needs (see the table below). If HubSpot shows a notice that the app is not yet reviewed, read it and continue only if you trust the company shown.
- Approve the install. You return to the LeadCatch dashboard, where HubSpot shows as Connected.
What each permission is used for:
- Contacts (read and write): find an existing contact by email or phone, create new contacts, and fill empty fields on existing ones. Existing data and owners are never overwritten.
- Deals (read and write): create a deal for each enquiry and link it to the contact.
- Owners (read): list your salespeople so you can route enquiries to them.
- Contact property settings (write): create the
leadcatch_*properties that record where each lead came from.
2. Website forms
- In the dashboard, copy the link under Website forms.
- In your form tool, find Webhook or Send data to URL, paste the link, and choose the POST method.
- Submit a test entry. It appears under Caught leads within seconds.
Name, phone, email, company, city and message fields are recognised automatically. Opening the link in a browser shows "not found", because it only accepts forms sent to it.
3. IndiaMART
- In the dashboard, copy the link under IndiaMART.
- In the IndiaMART Seller panel, open Lead Manager, then the ⋮ menu, then Import/Export Leads, then Push API.
- Choose Other, enter
LeadCatchas the platform name, paste the link, and confirm with the one-time code IndiaMART sends you. - Optional backup: in the same area create a Pull API key, paste it into the LeadCatch dashboard, and click Save key. LeadCatch then also checks IndiaMART every ten minutes, so a missed push is still caught.
4. Routing and what gets created
- Under Routing, add rules such as "city is Hyderabad, assign to Ravi", and choose a default owner.
- Under What LeadCatch creates, choose whether to create a deal and a call task, how deals are named, when tasks are due, and which IndiaMART lead types to accept.
The same enquiry arriving twice is saved once, and repeat buyers are matched to their existing contact.
If something goes wrong
Each caught lead shows its status. If delivery to HubSpot keeps failing, the lead is marked Needs attention with a plain-language reason and a Retry button. The usual cause is that HubSpot access was removed, and reconnecting HubSpot fixes it.
Disconnect, uninstall and delete your data
- Create new webhook links: replaces the secret in your IndiaMART and website form links. The old links stop working at once.
- Disconnect HubSpot: removes LeadCatch from your HubSpot account. Leads already caught stay in LeadCatch, and new ones wait until you connect a CRM again.
- Delete my account and data: removes LeadCatch from HubSpot and permanently deletes your workspace, caught leads and stored credentials. You can also uninstall LeadCatch from HubSpot's connected apps page.
